THE LIFTING POWER OF HONOUR

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Malachi 1:6

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

MESSAGE:

It is important to state that Every closed door is traceable to dishonor, every retrogression and every failure in life and destiny has it’s roots in the family of dishonour. Dishonour to God almighty, or to human authorities positioned here on earth. How many of you know that Jesus Christ the son of the living God walked on earth for 30years under a closed heaven , Yes you heard me right.

 Matthew 3:13-17

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, THE HEAVENS WERE OPENED UNTO HIM, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

There are principles that governs the earth that God can never break, one of these principles is the principles of SEED TIME AND HARVEST TIME.

Genesis 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The Second principle is the principle of HONOUR

1 Samuel 2:30

… for them that HONOUR me I will HONOUR, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Honour is the seed you will sow on your journey to destiny. Jesus couldn’t access open heavens until he honoured the human authority placed on earth by God who happens to be JOHN THE BAPTIST.

Are you experiencing a closed heaven? Please check your “HONOUR-meter” and judge for yourself. 

Naboth the Jazreelite died an untimely death because he dishonoured the king by the ungodly, uncoordinated words of his mouth 1kings 21:1-7.

Honour has the power to lift you, honour will give you leverage where you don’t qualify. There is always a realm where everyone is qualified educationally and or professionally, in such a place, only HONOUR will give you an edge. We cannot overemphasize the many benefits that comes with honour but make it a principle in your life. Is your marriage turbulent? Check your ”HONOUR-meter” towards your husband or wife, the solution lies there.

You will never miss it in life in Jesus name Amen.

PRAYER: Lord please forgive my dishonour to you and to all authority figure in my life and grant me the grace to make amends now in Jesus name.
