ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
Proverbs 11:24.
It is an estabished fact that your generosity towards God affects your prosperity in life.
The Scripture makes it clear that walking in the covenant of supernatural supplies is a pathway to accessing divine provisions.
Genesis 8:22 says,
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
This means, if there should be a harvest time, there must be a seed time. And if there is a seed time, harvest time shall never cease or fail.
Leviticus 27:30 says,
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.
If there is ever going to be an open heaven over your life, there must be a key that opens that heaven, and that key is your giving.
Your generosity towards God affects your prosperity in life. There is a connection between liberality and prosperity.
Proverbs 11:24-25 says,
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Some people think that giving reduces a person. No! Giving increases a person. Your treasure increases when you give your tithes, give for kingdom project, evangelism, give to the poor, give to your priest, etc. Scattering through kingdom generosity increases a person, but holding back is the pathway to poverty and penury.
Keeping or hoarding your resources does not increase you; it reduces you.
My counsel is, approach giving with a kingdom mindset. Release both yourself and what you have to God, and you will see how God will open you to great kingdom treasures of wealth and resources.
Never forget this: Your generosity towards God affects your prosperity in life.
KEY POINT:
Refuse to withhold from God what He has given to you.
Release your limited treasures towards God and His Kingdom so you can access His limitless provisions.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the spell of tightfistedness. I receive the grace to release my substances and treasures towards You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
