WHO/ WHERE DO YOU BELONG?

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:

Exodus 32:26 

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

MESSAGE:

Life generally forbids vacuum, and life also does not permit anyone standing or sitting on the fence. It is either you belong to God or you belong to the devil period.

Matthew 6:24 

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Moses decided to throw the question open so that God will know, the devil will also know and you yourself will know where you belong to.

Those who belong to God cannot be ashamed of identifying themselves with God and his words, they are straight forward in their dealings with people, they don’t speak from both sides of their mouth, their Yes is Yes and their No is No. They do not covet what is not theirs, they do not dress seductively spreading out the spirit of seduction everywhere.

If you belong to God, you will not bear false witness against your neighbor and your colleague in the office, if you belong to God you will be concerned about winning souls and building up the church of Jesus Christ. If you belong to God you will not steal that public funds, making the masses wallow in poverty and penury. If you belong to God, you will carry out that hospital construction with the fear of the Lord, you will not equip the hospital with substandard equipment and fake oxygen concentrators. If you belong to God, the people will matter to you, their wellbeing will matter to you, their souls will matter to you and their genuine salvation will matter to you. If you belong to God, you will not be contemplating money rituals, internet fraud and the rest. If you belong to God, Your wife will know, your children will know, your neighbors will know and You yourself will Know.

Dear Brother, I asked again, Who do you belong to?

Are you on the Lord’s side or you belong to the Devil? Only you can answer this question yourself.

Joshua 24:15 

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD.
